Job description

Job Title: Development Engineer/ Mechanical Engineer

Job Location: Irvine, CA/ San Jose, CA


Job Description:


  • Assist in the design and development of high-power connectors and cable assemblies
  • Create and maintain 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks
  • Support CAE/FEA analysis including thermal, mechanical, and electrical evaluations
  • Apply GD&T principles and participate in tolerance analysis activities
  • Work closely with senior engineers, manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams
  • Support customer technical activities as FAE/SE, including understanding customer requirement, technical communication, and testing support
  • Participate in prototype builds, validation testing, and engineering documentation
  • Learn and grow technical capability through active participation in project development
  • Support project execution through collaboration with global teams and customers
  • Domestic and international travel may be required for customer support, project reviews, and manufacturing coordination


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • Entry-level candidates or early career engineers are encouraged to apply
  • Basic knowledge of heat transfer and electrical fundamentals preferred
  • Exposure to connector design, EV, or data center applications is a plus
  • Experience or academic background in CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Familiarity with CAE/FEA tools is desirable
  • Understanding of GD&T concepts and tolerance analysis fundamentals
  • Strong teamwork mindset, positive learning attitude, and willingness to grow with projects
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Language: English required; Chinese is a plus
