Description
Alloy Precision Technologies is actively seeking an enthusiastic and motivated entry-level FPI NDT Inspector to manage non-destructive testing processes in a NADCAP-accredited environment. This role will involve handling Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection setup, process execution, and evaluation. The successful candidate will receive training during the first shift before moving to the second shift, which includes a 10% shift premium.
Responsibilities
• Carry out FPI setup and process execution activities
• Compile, update, and preserve FPI procedural documents and related records
• Conduct Level 2 Fluorescent Penetrant Inspections
• Liaise with inspection, quality, and product engineering teams
• Preserve a tidy, well-arranged work area
• Take up various tasks across different sectors such as inspection and production as needed
Qualifications
• High school certificate or equivalent status
• Profound concentration abilities and an eagerness to acquire new knowledge
• Exhibit dexterity in handling mechanical activities; NDT background or general knowledge in NDT fundamentals is a bonus
• Basic knowledge of computer operation Work Environment
• Able to Stand for much of the workday
