Maverick Engineering - CAD Drafter/Technician Profile


Experienced CAD Drafter/Technician with 5+ years of experience supporting civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Proven ability to produce accurate, detailed construction documents and design drawings that support successful project delivery throughout the Midland and West Texas region.


Experienced in preparing and modifying site development, grading, paving, utility, drainage, erosion control, demolition, and infrastructure plans, incorporating engineering review comments and maintaining company and project drafting standards. Familiar with the unique site and development considerations associated with West Texas projects, with a strong focus on accuracy, constructability, and timely production.


Strong technical background in survey data conversion, LandXML imports, surface development, linework cleanup, sheet setup, plan and profile production, and construction drawing packages. Skilled at organizing and maintaining Civil 3D drawings while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.


Collaborative and detail-oriented professional with experience working closely with civil engineers, project managers, surveyors, designers, and field teams to resolve drafting and design challenges, meet project deadlines, and deliver high-quality, client-ready construction documents.


Knowledgeable in QA/QC procedures, pipe networks, utility layouts, profile development, permitting exhibits, and technical drafting standards, with a commitment to producing accurate and professional deliverables that meet engineering, regulatory, and client requirements.
