Job description

Network Engineer

Implement and support high performance, secure, and resilient network and voice infrastructure.

Collaborate with a global team of network engineers and ensure continued responsiveness and operational stability of the network infrastructure.

Provide direction and subject matter expertise in the analysis and resolution of complex networking problems.

Assist in standardizing processes, technologies, and automating routine tasks.

Document and diagram network architecture designs and configurations.

Collaborate and coordinate with ISP carriers and vendors as required for any service degradation or installation.

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

10+ years of experience with Cisco enterprise network architecture and engineering - including complex network design, hands-on implementation/configuration of Cisco LAN/WAN/WLAN networking devices and operational support.

Experience with enterprise networking technologies, tools and processes to include routing, switching, traffic optimization (Riverbed preferred), load balancing (F5 preferred), firewalls (Palo Alto Preferred), datacenter fabric and local/metro/wide area networks.

Ability to deep-dive into technical network architecture and design when needed to tackle complex problems and major incidents.

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.

Knowledge of ITIL Change, Incident and Problem management processes.

Knowledge of industry best practices for designing, implementing, and maintaining network services throughout the system life cycle.

Industry certifications: CCNP, CCDP, CCVP, AWS, Azure, ITIL, DevOps is preferred.

Knowledge of Cisco DNA, SD-WAN, Viptela or Ansible would be beneficial.

This position will require up to 20% travel.

US Citizen. Ability to obtain, maintain or currently hold a US DoD Clearance.
