Job description

Job Purpose
To create prints and work orders, communicate effectively with leadership and the team, and support all technical and application needs for internal and external customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Create tool prints for production based on customer requirements and geometry.
Design for production following Fullerton's manufacturing/tolerance standards (print, router, tolerance standards).
Provide details needed on prints & routers to ensure it is clear what is required at each production step.
Create wire frame prints to assist in the quoting phase.
Create router packets for production to ensure the customer receives the correct and quality tooling.
Provide accurate routing setup and run times to aid in production scheduling.
Provide technical support to external and internal customers.
Multi-task when working on various projects at the same time. (Engineering GUI, Customer prints, Quoting prints)
Attend FAST academy once every 2 years (minimum)
Supporting Quality Assurance
Travel to Customer sites as needed.
Regular and predictable attendance
Maintain 5S and a neat and clean work area.
Ability to demonstrate, understand, and exemplify Fullerton Tool Company's Core Values.
Other relevant tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications/Education/Skills
Degree in Engineering or related field
Experience in Product Development/Applications
Knowledge of machining techniques and cutting tools
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Cutting Tool knowledge
Manufacturing experience
Mechanical blueprint reading experience
CAD experience. AutoCAD 2D along with Fusion 360 or equivalent experience developing models and drawings.

Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive, and energy.

Working Conditions
Professional office environment (50% of the time). Required to interact with personnel on manufacturing floor (40%). This position operates within a manufacturing environment and has occasional exposure to loud noise, grinding oil/coolant, grinding dust, fumes and moving mechanical parts. Some travel may be required (5-10%).
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift to 30 lbs.
