Description
Basic Position Duties
  • Develop mass-production engineering parameters (production, quality) for new business.
  • Develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods.
  • Provides on-going technical support to production and maintenance to ensure effective use of production equipment and tooling.
  • Develop and implement countermeasures for claims, IPD's, and downtime.
  • Negotiates with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for the purchase of equipment, materials and parts.
  • Investigate and coordinate Kaizen activities.
  • Work with management, manufacturing, corporate officials and other staff regarding machine capabilities, production schedules, and other cost considerations to facilitate production.
  • Develop the necessary equipment required to produce/assemble precise molded parts and to guarantee the quality of the parts as produced.
  • Must have understanding of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; 5 or more years in a manufacturing/ engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have ME experience complimented with a degree. Must have knowledge/skills for basic machine design and computer skills. Must have SolidWorks experience and be able to demonstrate capabilities. Must be available for international and domestic travel.
