Job description

The Sitter is responsible for monitoring patients in need of 24 hour assistance. Sitter may be required to assist patient with basic activities such as bathing, turning, eating and must be knowledgeable on restraints.  Other duties as assigned.

Education:  High School Diploma or GED required.  BLS preferred on hire but required within 6 months of hire.  Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to read and write English. Computer data entry. Basic computer skills.

Experience:  Prior experience in a health care setting preferred.
