As the CAD Designer, you'll create and modify parametric 3D CAD models and production drawings across multiple engine platforms using Siemens NX - working from concept through production alongside other analysts, engineers and cross-functional teams.

You'll also manage CAD data and change notifications through PTC Windchill PDMLink, ensuring designs meet applicable product compliance requirements including environmental and safety regulations.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D CAD models and 2D production drawings for engine components using Siemens NX

  • Design and develop components across multiple engine assembly platforms

  • Prepare conceptual layouts for new product proposals and modifications to current products

  • Collaborate with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, suppliers, and quality teams to ensure designs are feasible and production-ready

  • Manage CAD data, file organization, and change notifications using PTC Windchill PDMLink

  • Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes including casting, molding, machining, stamping, and assembly

  • Support electrical design work including wire harness routing and connector layouts

  • Maintain structured CAD models and file organization per company standards

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in Mechanical Design or related engineering field

  • Experience using 3D parametric CAD modeling software (Siemens NX preferred); 3+ years of product design experience preferred

  • Ability to create and dimension detailed sketches as the foundation for complex 3D parametric models

  • Basic understanding of engine design and ability to create concepts of engine components

The salary range for this position is $62,350 - $93,550.The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
