Job description

Requirements:
• Ability to support many functions, including filling in for the store manager during absences
• Collaborate with Store Manager on the daily operations of the store and in the training, coaching, and managing of employees
• Assist with scheduling employees, completing time-clock reporting, and assigning work
• Interact with customers, recommend products and scheduled service
• Process paperwork and utilize company computer systems to help maintain proper billing and inventory
• Act as a shop foreman and as a service writer
• Answer phones, assist customers, and perform tire changes
• Provide hands-on support to front desk
• Cash out customers and support and conduct tire deliveries
• Language skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Possess basic mathematical skills
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in writing, oral or diagram form
• Computer skills: Basic computer skills; training will be provided as needed
• Communication skills: Must be good at communicating with customers, employees and vendors in person, on the phone and via electronic tools such as e-mail and text messaging
• Perform duties of tire technician when needed
Physical Demands:
Exerts 75 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Frequently reaches (extending hands and arms in any direction), handles (seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or working with hands), and identifies and distinguishes colors. Occasionally climbs (ascends or descends ladders, stairs, ramps, and the like), balances. Occasionally stoops (bending the body downward and forward by bending at the waist, legs and spine), and kneels (bending the legs at knee to come to rest on knee or knees).
