Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:


  • Reviewing markups and draw details in CAD.
  • Implement and reinforce CAD standards within the company.
  • Pick up redlines utilizing AutoCAD, MicroStation and Revit for different engineering fields.
  • Coordinate with engineers and make sure markups are being addressed properly and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Go on the field for survey, site conditions and photographs.
  • Prepare design and construction submission package.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings when required to meet client’s CAD expectations
  • Assist the engineers with any CAD drafting need.


Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:


  • High school diploma.
  • 3-5 years of experience in structural design and detailing.
  • Professional Draftsmen License preferred.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, REVIT, Microstation & Bluebeam
  • Excellent oral, written skills and communication skills.
  • Curiosity and interest in continuous learning in AI and comfort experimenting and iterating quickly; uses data to validate ideas and measure impact.
  • Commitment to ethical and responsible AI adoption, including privacy-by-design and safe use of tools.
