We are a small, dynamic civil engineering and land surveying firm with a long history of delivering impactful projects across New Jersey. Our team works collaboratively with clients, developers, and each other to produce high-quality, precise survey and engineering solutions. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to projects that shape the community while working alongside experienced professionals.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Survey CAD Technician to join our technical staff. This role is critical to transforming field survey data into accurate, organized, and professional CAD drawings for a variety of residential, commercial, and municipal projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare boundary, topographic, ALTA, subdivision, and construction survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Translate field-collected survey data into clean, well-organized CAD drawings
  • Collaborate closely with surveyors and engineers to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain drawing standards and file management procedures
  • Edit and revise plans based on feedback and updated survey data
  • Assist in the preparation of maps, plats, and legal descriptions

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in drafting or CAD preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in survey drafting using AutoCAD (Civil 3D strongly preferred)
  • Solid understanding of surveying principles, field procedures, and legal mapping requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with GIS and related geospatial software (preferred)
  • Experience with deed plotting, right-of-way mapping, and land development plans (preferred)
