Location: Canton, MA - Columbia, MD - St. Paul, MN - Denver, CO - Sacramento, CA (Hybrid)

In this position, you'll be based in our Canton, Columbia, St. Paul, Denver or Sacramento office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. Find out more about our flexible work culture at computershare.com/flex.ย ย ย ย 

We are currently hiring for two openings on our team. Candidates must be available to work one of the following schedules:

Position 1: 11am - 8pm Eastern Timeย 

Position 2: 9am - 6pm Eastern Timeย 

Both positions offer the same responsibilities and qualifications; the primary difference is the assigned work schedule.

The Sanctions Case Research Analystย role is responsible for the review and investigation of transactional alerts against U.S. and other sanction lists and will deliver high-quality work within strict delivery guidelines. The guidelines include successful delivery within agreed timeframes and quality standards.ย 

The Sanctions Case Research Analyst is also expected to work collaboratively across teams within the same department and CCT Compliance to resolve Sanctions related inquiries timely and accurately.

The Analyst will work closely with their manager and relevant stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate results.ย  The Analyst will work with internal information sources for information clarification, guidance, and/or assistance in resolving inquiries.

Additionally, the Analyst may be asked to provide ad-hoc or time-sensitive Sanctions checks to meet the immediate business or parent needs.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewย accounts and account transactionsย with potential Sanctions matches to ensure compliance with sanctions.ย ย 
  • Must document investigations, escalation and resolution of sanctions matches forย retention and audit records.ย 
  • Identifies transactions that have the potential to be Blocked orย Rejected andย provides first level review of transactions.ย 
  • Collects information and obtains relevant supporting documentation of Sanctions dispositions.ย 
  • Compares potential matches to theย Computershare's client list and communicates withย internal departmentsย and other financial institutions to gather informationย to resolve match.ย 
  • Workย withย Bank payments andย wire clearing and corresponding with other financial institutions.ย 
  • Assists with the preparation and completion of regulatory and compliance documents.ย 
  • Assist with audit or regulatory examination process.ย 

What will you bring to the role?ย 

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; one- or two-years' experience or related training in the finance or banking industry.

Current working knowledge in sanctions requirements.

Strong organization and time management skills and ability to work independently.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize between conducting thorough Sanctions reviews, sending correspondence internally or externally, case documentation, communication status of Sanctions review and working on department reporting as needed.

Strong Analytical, Research and Investigative skills to conduct thorough due diligence reviews on escalated transactions.

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Ability to work in high-volume, high pressure processing environment.

Strong verbal and written communication.

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $26.44/hr. - $33.65/hr. USD with an eligibility of a discretionary bonus. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations: Canton I Denver I Sacramento I St. Paul I Columbia.
