Volt is immediately hiring 2nd Shift Electronic Assemblers in Farmington, NM.
As an Electronic Assembler, you will:
  • Read and interpret written and verbal work instructions to complete manufacturing and production tasks according to established procedures and quality standards
  • Follow all safety requirements, company processes, and production procedures
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools to perform assembly and production activities
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, electronic, and electromechanical assembly tasks
  • Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure products meet specifications
  • Identify product defects and complete required documentation
  • Rework and repair products in accordance with engineering and specification changes
  • Report quality, equipment, material, and process issues to supervisors
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including adherence to Foreign Object Damage (FOD) requirements
  • Assist with material handling and other manufacturing support activities
  • Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Cross train in other departments and support additional production-related duties as needed
  • Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and used according to established procedures

This is a full-time, long-term assignment. 2nd Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm.
Electronic Assembler candidates must meet the following requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or related experience preferred
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch for up to 10-hour shifts
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must maintain an active email address
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and assigned shifts as required
  • Must successfully complete all required screenings and background checks

Pay for this position is $20.82/ hr.
