Customer Application Content Specialist — Content & Creative Focus

Our High Speed IO Connectors and OverPass Solutions Business Unit is growing quickly, and we are looking for a creative content professional who can turn complex information into engaging, easy-to-understand content for customers and internal teams. 

THE ROLE 

The Customer Application Content Specialist develops creative, visual, and educational content that helps customers understand and use our products effectively. 

This role combines content creation, visual storytelling, video, animation, and instructional design. You will work with subject-matter experts to understand complex topics and transform them into compelling content across video, presentations, visual guides, training materials, and digital learning experiences. 

The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller who is curious, creative, highly visual, and comfortable learning technical subjects. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop engaging customer-facing and internal content across video, presentations, guides, training materials, and digital formats. 

  • Create storyboards, scripts, visual concepts, animations, demonstrations, and multimedia content. 

  • Develop video tutorials, product explainers, walkthroughs, and training content. 

  • Use graphics, animation, CAD/3D visuals, and other visual storytelling techniques to simplify complex concepts. 

  • Partner with engineers and subject-matter experts to gather information and turn it into clear, audience-focused content. 

  • Support training, onboarding, product launches, and customer enablement. 

  • Maintain and continuously improve content as products and customer needs evolve. 

  • Explore new creative tools, formats, and approaches to make technical learning more engaging and effective.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Digital Media, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Instructional Design, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. 

  • 5+ years of experience in content creation, multimedia, video, instructional design, technical communications, visual storytelling, or a related creative field. 

  • Portfolio demonstrating strong content, visual, video, animation, or multimedia work. 

  • Experience with video editing, motion graphics, animation, 3D/CAD visualization, or digital learning is highly desirable. 

  • Ability to simplify complex information into engaging content. 

  • Experience working with technical subject-matter experts is a plus. 

  • Engineering, manufacturing, electronics, or other technical industry experience is an asset, but is not required. 

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS 

The base salary range for this position is $100,000–$125,000, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, education, and geographic location.
