Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze user requirements and processes to provide technological solutions for business problems.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in the office.

What Youll Do:

  • Consult with individuals and groups to analyze current processes, system usage, problems, and priorities. Identify and develop potential solutions and enhancements, feasibility of options, data requirements, and effort estimates.
  • Create business requirements documents, process documents and specifications that support configuration and programming needed to meet end-user needs.
  • Provide technical and operational support for the implementation of business systems.
  • Create and maintain training materials and conduct training to support standard system functionality and enhancements.
  • Provide business system support to end-users on standard functionality, customizations, and system enhancements.
  • Complete and document unit, system, integration, and regression testing as part of delivering technology solutions.
  • Participate in concurrent projects throughout the software development life cycle while meeting deadlines and adhering to strict quality standards.
  • Further the goals and positive, professional image of the IT Department by conducting business with other MEPPI departments, consultants, suppliers, etc., in a timely and cooperative manner.

  • Bachelors degree in computer-related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of database design to support the creation of customized functionality.
  • Intermediate programming and troubleshooting skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required to communicate with employees and vendors.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced computer skills with emphasis on MS Office products and ERP systems.
