Job description

You're Tired of the Same Old Entry-Level "Opportunities," Aren't You?
Sick of being told you need experience for your first job? Frustrated that you're stuck doing boring, repetitive work that teaches you nothing? If you've ever looked at a machine or a blueprint and thought, "I could make that better," this is your shot. As a CAD Drafter at Wisenbaker, you won't be stuck in a corner making edits no one sees. You'll be an active part of the production process-turning CAD renderings into real-world results
We're not looking for someone with 5 years of experience-we're looking for someone ready to learn and become a vital part of a team that actually makes things.
Your Mission:
Transform raw ideas into precision-built realities by empowering our people-from entry-level drafters to experienced machinists-to learn, grow, and lead with craftsmanship, accountability, and pride. We believe that excellence starts on the screen and ends on the shop floor, and we're committed to building a team where curiosity, precision, and continuous improvement drive everything we do.
What You'll Be Doing (And Learning on the Way)
• Convert completed CAD renderings into machine-ready files (G-code) so our shop floor runs like a dream.
• Save and organize your programs into machine-specific folders so nothing gets lost in the shuffle.
• Double-check CAD accuracy against real-world field drawings and order pecs-your eyes catch what others miss.
• Work with high-volume workflows without getting overwhelmed-this is where your attention to detail shines.
• Cross-train and level up your skills-no getting boxed into one role here.
What are we looking for:
(Don't worry-we'll teach you the rest)
• High school diploma or technical school coursework in AutoCAD (even just one semester helps).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong follow-through-you finish what you start.
• Time management skills-you can prioritize, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently but not afraid to ask questions.
• Curiosity to learn and the drive to improve-not just do the bare minimum.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment where details matter.
About The Company

As one of the nation's largest providers of flooring, cabinets, countertops, and window coverings, we take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship and exceptional service. We believe in taking care of our people, offering competitive pay, profit sharing, health benefits, retirement plans, paid time off, and growth opportunities. At Wisenbaker, your success matters, and we're committed to helping you build a rewarding career.
