Reports to: CAD Service Director - Jon McLaughlin
Location: Flexibility in location
Purpose
Support and train our customers and their operators in their day-to-day use of technologies that SNP sells. Be involved in new and upcoming tech and projects that will help SNP and its customers be ready for the future. Support our team of technicians and salespeople with precision and technical questions.
Responsibilities
  • Develops, communicates, and enacts training for sprayer operators and SNP's employees
  • Phone and in person support for application equipment operators and SNP's technicians
  • Support customers with JD technology products including, but not limited to the following
    • Operations Center
    • Operations Center Pro Dispatch
    • All JD monitors and operations
    • Vision and RowSense
    • See & Spray
    • Automation technology
  • Providing excellent customer service to CAD service and sales departments
  • Perform in-field start-ups for new and existing application equipment operators
  • Build and maintain customer relationships with Ag Service Providers
  • Assist in keeping SNP facilities organized and clean
  • Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities
  • Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
  • Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
  • Experience working cooperatively in a team environment
  • Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing
  • Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must be a self-starting individual that requires minimal direction on day to day responsibilities
