Job Description

BCS is seeking the services of a Senior Designer to supplement existing resources to the client's current staff. Under limited supervision, the Senior Designer is responsible for the preparation of mechanical designs and drawings utilizing NX11 and Teamcenter. The Senior Designer will ensure compliance and consistency to professional standards. 

Duration - 1 year 

Scope of Work 

The candidate will be required to: 

Perform design stack-up calculations, layout designs, detailing, and create advanced level 3D models in NX11 

Research and analyze design solutions 

Coordinate design development with project team members 

Select and specify design components and materials 

Participates in the documentation and change control of a design 

Maintain files and electronically store files in Teamcenter 

Abides by and is responsible for performing all duties in accordance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and practices pertinent to this position. 

Qualifications

Demonstrate acceptable proficiency in NX11 CAD via an interview through the ZOOM meeting portal 

A minimum of a 5 years of experience as Senior Designer 

Ability deliver a quality work product to deadline driven projects 

ASME Y14.5 - 1994 Knowledge or higher
