Hazen and Sawyer has an excellent opportunity for an experienced CAD/BIM Designer to join our Atlanta, GA office to work with project managers and our process mechanical engineers to produce BIM (Revit) models, families, and contract drawings.
This position will also lead the effort of coordinating the development of contract drawings with multiple disciplines, including the coordination of interdisciplinary interactions and the resolution of conflicts as well as the coordination of project deadlines and standards adherence across project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Revit models, families, and contract documents
- Developing base files and contract drawings
- Coordinating contract drawing development with multiple disciplines
- Performing BIM model clash detection and working with various disciplines to resolve conflicts
- Training/mentoring less experienced Designers
- Providing input on CAD/BIM standards and workflows
Qualifications:
- Proficient in the use of Autodesk Revit with experience in the creation of models, families, and contract drawings.
- Experience leading the model and contract drawing development effort for projects, including performing interdisciplinary clash detection and the reconciliation of conflicts as well as ensuring that standards are adhered to.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience — or an associate degree/technical certification and 7 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading and coordinating drawing production for small to medium sized projects
- Experience directing and mentoring less experienced designers
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
