Position Summary:
Performs routine assignments with guidance from supervisor, engineers, technicians, OJTs, or detailed procedures. Performs routine tasks in SolidWorks to create 3D models and drawings and to execute document creation and changes. Technical adequacies of routine work are reviewed upon completion. Becomes familiar with the operation and design of Swagelok products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Extract engineering data from various sources and processes the data following well defined methods or procedures (elementary algebra, geometry).
  • Follows standard work to create 3D models and CAD drawings in SolidWorks, and to process document changes and engineering record changes. Exercises best judgement and seeks clarity and support in situations standard work does not fully define.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in standard work and processes. Supports and executes on continuous improvement projects as appropriate.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Required:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some technical courses or on the job training in related field
  • 1-3 years in related field
  • Basic knowledge of SolidWorks
  • Capable of using reason and logic in problem solving
  • Strong computer and office software skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Working conditions associated with normal office environment.

  • Occasional domestic and/or international travel may be required.
