Job Title: Engineering Technician

Location: Carson City, NV 89706

Duration: Direct hire with full time benefits

Shift: Mon to Fri 8 am to 5 pm

Pay range: $30 to $40 an hour- Depends on experience & qualification

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate tools and fixtures
  • Create and update CAD models and drawings
  • Scan and evaluate parts for accuracy
  • Assist with tool design, manufacture, and documentation
  • Perform first article inspections
  • Support root cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Collect and analyze manufacturing data
  • Develop work instructions and specifications
  • Drive lean and continuous improvement practices
  • Maintain safety and compliance standards

Qualifications:

  • Ability to speak and listen effectively to follow instructions in English. Ability to write and speak complete sentences and understand verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Technical school diploma
  • Proficient in 3D CAD (NX or KeyCreator preferred; SolidWorks acceptable)
  • EDM and CMM experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and machining processes
  • Familiarity with PC-DMIS, Geomagic, or similar software preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
