  • Use CAD software to produce and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings/schematics, and associated design specifications and instructions.
  • Develop and maintain production quality Class A Outer Model Line / Loft definitions for the aircraft using modern 3D surfacing techniques.  This will include a variety of surface types from simple shapes to carefully defined fairings.
  • Create additional surface and solid models representing aircraft structures, systems and transport elements, mechanisms, and stay-in/stay-out/sweep envelopes.
  • Provide geometric models to engineering disciplines for downstream analysis (e.g. aerodynamic CFD simulations, Finite Element Modeling, Mass Properties analysis, systems spatial integration and separation checks).
