Jackola Engineering and Architecture in Kalispell, Montana is seeking a talented and experienced Civil CAD Design Technician to join our dynamic team.


Join our full-service design team as an experienced CAD Design Technician. In this role you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, clients, contractors, and vendors to shape innovative projects.


Your expertise will drive consistency and ensure high-quality project delivery across a diverse portfolio—including subdivision, storm/sewer drainage, water supply piping, grading and surface flow, erosion control, and pavement/concrete design systems, along with other land development and infrastructure improvements projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project specific AutoCAD Civil 3D files across civil and surveying disciplines.
  • Provide AutoCAD Civil 3D technical support for civil studio team members throughout the project design process.
  • Engage in front end project setup and QA/QC procedures to ensure project deliverables meet company, client, and contractor requirements.
  • Work in a multi-discipline team environment to develop, design, and model civil systems using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Represent design studio in a specialized CAD discipline to drive company standards and quality improvement.
Requirements:
  • An associate's degree (AA or AAS) in BIM/CAD or closely related field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting and design experience.
  • Organized and able to handle multiple tasks at a time.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and be part of a team.
