Aeronot Design personalizes the entire design process, focusing on creativity, functionality, and aesthetic impact. Role Description The Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter is a full-time, on-site role based in Fresno, CA. This role is responsible for producing precise technical and architectural drawings, converting design concepts into detailed CAD models and construction documents. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting sketches and specifications from architects and designers, creating and revising CAD drawings, and ensuring all documentation complies with applicable standards and building codes. The CAD Drafter will collaborate with project team members, coordinate drawing updates, maintain organized file systems, and support the design process with accurate layouts, sections, and details.

Proficiency in Revit (CAD) software and tools, with the ability to create and modify complex 2D and 3D models.  Knowledge with Chaos Endscape is also welcomed.
Strong skills in Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings, including clear dimensioning, notation, and adherence to drafting standards.
Experience producing Architectural Drawings, such as floor plans, elevations, sections, and details that support custom building designs.
Solid general Drawing skills, with attention to accuracy, scale, and visual clarity in digital and printed documents.
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in drafting, architecture, engineering technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with building codes, construction materials, and structural concepts relevant to architectural projects.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with architects, engineers, designers, and project stakeholders on-site.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple drawing sets and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
