Job description

) Come join our team at Riverview! There are now openings for day shift full time schedule Sunday- Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Responsibilities of the Activity Aide:
  • The Activity Aide will be responsible for providing interactive and enjoyable activities for our residents
  • Assist in planning, developing, organizing programs and events
  • Play games and make crafts with mobile residents
  • Visit bed residents on a one-to-one basis
  • Participate in resident assessment and discharge planning
  • May assist with resident mail delivery

. Requirements:
Activity Aide:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Long-Term Care and Dementia
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Positive, energetic and engaging demeanor
  • High level of confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
  • Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adult
