Job description

The Beauty Institute is seeking a dynamic team player for the Financial Aid Administration position in our Head Office located in the Lehigh Valley, PA.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Processing financial aid with a third party servicer.
  • Maintaining Financial Aid (FA) paperwork and student files/records.
  • Working closely with each school location for effective and efficient processing of student FA.
  • Support front end financial aid activities with Admission teams, as needed.
  • Packaging students FA in a timely manner.
  • Monitors student balances, reviews attendance, SAP monitoring.
  • Perform Return to Title IV (R2T4) and, if required, request for return of funds.
  • Study and evaluate policies, regulations and applicable laws relating to FA.
  • Prepares detailed reports relating to financial aid and assigned programs.
  • Assists with annual audits, accreditation renewal and other special projects.
Qualifications:
  • At least two years of administrative/accounting experience preferably in the education industry.
  • At least Associate Degree
  • Strong computer skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills and efficient work habits
  • Ability to perform duties under prescribed deadlines
  • Flexibility and willingness to think proactively
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team player with a positive attitude
Salary commensurate with experience.
