Our growing team has earned global recognition as a Great Place to Work and received multiple industry partner awards-while keeping things fun and people-focused. If you're looking to deepen your expertise and solve real-world problems, Bits In Glass could be the place for you.

We're hiring two Senior .NET Engineers to support a healthcare industry client on key software development initiatives. The roles will focus on building and enhancing integration solutions, maintaining and modernizing legacy systems, and implementing AI-driven security enhancements across web applications. We're looking for engineers who are comfortable working across modern and legacy .NET environments and who actively use AI-assisted development tools as part of their daily workflow.

This position is ideal for someone who is systems-oriented, enjoys learning new tools and technologies, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Location: Remote (must overlap with 8:00 AM-5:00 PM MST business hours)

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain C# APIs and web applications, including work on both modern .NET and legacy ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC codebases.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) as a core part of your engineering workflow, from implementation to code review.
  • Depending on assignment: contribute to system integration and legacy modernization efforts, or implement security monitoring features (e.g., sensitive-data access alerts) across dozens of production web applications.
  • Build and maintain automated regression test coverage for changes you ship.
  • Collaborate with client engineering teams on code reviews, CI/CD, and production releases.

Required skills and experience:

  • Senior-level, full-stack .NET engineer with software architecture experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with C# APIs and web application development, plus working knowledge of legacy ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC.
  • Recent, active experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code or similar).
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core / recent .NET versions, CI/CD pipelines, and SQL Server or Oracle.
  • Comfortable writing or maintaining automated tests (e.g., Playwright) for regression coverage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Able to work from a private, dedicated workspace with secure internet (client security requirement).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Kafka, Change Data Capture (CDC) patterns, or event-driven architecture.
  • Background in healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience modernizing legacy websites/applications.
  • Familiarity with front-end tooling such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
