Job description

Position Overview
This role supports field construction and production operations by providing technical oversight of natural gas compressor installations, well pad infrastructure, and facility start-up activities. The position involves coordinating with field supervisors and engineers to ensure compressors and associated equipment are installed, operated, and maintained safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide field oversight during compressor installations, pad construction, and facility commissioning.
  • Monitor day-to-day compressor performance and support routine and corrective maintenance.
  • Review compressor-related drawings, design packages, and operating procedures; offer practical feedback to improve safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Support both well pad compression setups and centralized compression facilities, including layout and operational flow.
  • Assist with and supervise smaller engine repairs or maintenance tasks in coordination with production teams.
  • Ensure all work follows established standards, best practices, and operational expectations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on compression experience in oil and gas operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of CAT engines and Ariel compressor frames is highly preferred.
  • Solid communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Competent with computers, including Word, Excel, and field operations software.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
