Pharmacy Technician Certified
Community Health Network was created by our neighbors, for our neighbors. Over 60 years later, "community" is still the heart of our organization. It means providing our neighbors with the best care possible, backed by state-of-the-art technology. It means getting involved in the communities we serve through volunteer opportunities and benefits initiatives. It means ensuring our dedicated caregivers can learn and grow to stay at the top of their fields and to better serve our patients. And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn't do it without you.
The Pharmacy Technician will ensure that medications and supplies are provided to the customer in an accurate and timely manner in compliance with standard procedures, Joint Commission, State Department of Health, and other regulatory standards.
Accurately and efficiently select medications for dispensing, compound sterile products using aseptic technique, deliver medications and supplies to the proper location in a timely fashion, maintain contemporary professional knowledge base, participate in the evaluation, development, and implementation of process improvement. Perform basic compounding and calculations, communicate with patients, their families, and hospital staff in a positive and professional manner.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Indiana Pharmacy Technician License or Indiana Pharmacy Intern License. Previous pharmaceutical or related healthcare experience preferred. National Certification required within 2 years of hire unless you are a Pharmacy Intern.
