Clinical expertise. Custom solutions. Work that matters.
Compounding pharmacy is where pharmaceutical science meets individualized patient care — and at Triangle Compounding Pharmacy, it's the foundation of everything we do. We develop custom formulations for patients whose needs can't be met by commercially available medications. Our pharmacists use precision and care to provide personalized medications that have real outcomes for our patients.
We were the first PCAB-accredited compounding pharmacy in North Carolina and later became the state's first FDA-registered 503B Human Drug Outsourcing Facility. Our standards exist because our patients depend on them.
We are seeking a pharmacist who wants to practice at a level of depth and precision that traditional pharmacy rarely offers. This role combines clinical problem-solving, pharmaceutical science, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and direct collaboration with prescribers to create customized therapies that improve patient outcomes. If you enjoy applying your expertise beyond dispensing and want to work in a highly specialized environment, we'd like to meet you.
As part of our team, you'll gain exposure to both patient-specific compounding (503A) and FDA-regulated outsourcing facility operations (503B), providing a unique opportunity to expand your expertise in advanced pharmacy practice, quality systems, and formulation development.
Role Responsibilities
Collaborate with prescribers to develop and refine personalized formulations for individual patients
Review incoming prescriptions for accuracy, clinical appropriateness, and potential interactions
Evaluate formulation stability, compatibility, and dosage-form selection to support optimal therapeutic outcomes

Manage pharmaceutical and chemical inventory to ensure adequate supply, proper storage, and regulatory compliance
Ensure ongoing compliance with state and federal regulations
Maintain accurate records and documentation across all compounding activities

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising accuracy
Strong patient-facing communication and customer service skills
Commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance

Company Description
About Triangle Compounding Pharmacy
Triangle Compounding Pharmacy (TCP) is an independently owned, 503A-licensed compounding pharmacy serving patients and prescribers across North Carolina and beyond. Triangle Compounding Pharmacy was the first PCAB-accredited pharmacy in North Carolina and the first 503B FDA-registered outsourcing facility. We specialize in personalized, non-sterile compounded medications — including bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, pain management, dermatology, men's health, pediatric formulations, and an expanding longevity product portfolio that includes NAD+ therapy, oral peptide protocols, and custom ED formulations.
We are in an exciting period of strategic growth. The board has approved an ambitious expansion into the longevity pharmacy space, including new product categories, a new BD function, a clinic partnership program, and new oral solid dosage capabilities. As we scale, we need an experienced operational leader who can build the infrastructure, systems, and culture to support that growth — while solving the real operational challenges we face today.
We specialize in custom sterile and non-sterile compounding for patients whose needs simply aren't met by commercially available medications. Our work spans hormone therapy, pain management, weight loss, veterinary care, pediatric formulations, and more — each prescription made specifically for the individual patient, not the average.
With ISO-certified clean rooms, rigorous quality standards, and a pharmacist-led team that has earned the trust of providers and patients across multiple states, Triangle Compounding is where precision and personalized care come together. If you're looking to bring your skills somewhere that genuinely raises the bar — and where the work you do matters — you've found the right place.
