Step into a leadership role where you'll run day-to-day compounding operations, develop a strong production team, and directly influence quality, efficiency, and safety in a growing manufacturing environment.
Pay: $130k-$140k w/ 10% bonus potential

Location: Elkhart, IN
Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily compounding operations, including pre-weigh, batching, and material handling to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Manage and develop production staff, including scheduling, training, performance oversight, and shift coordination.
  • Ensure full compliance with GMP, FDA, SOP, and OSHA standards across all compounding activities.
  • Oversee documentation accuracy and ensure adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to investigate deviations, batching errors, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize production workflows.
  • Monitor inventory of raw materials, equipment, and supplies to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Support troubleshooting of production and compounding issues in collaboration with QA and Engineering teams.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Oversee audit readiness and ensure timely completion of corrective actions from internal and external audits.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 4-6+ years of leadership experience in a cosmetic, personal care, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience in compounding, batching, or mixing operations.
  • Proven track record of improving production processes, reducing errors, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment with strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, SOP, and OSHA requirements.
  • Experience managing teams, including scheduling, training, and performance management across production shifts.
