Compounding Manager
Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent personal care and cosmetics manufacturer, is seeking a Compounding Manager to join their team! This is a dayshift leadership opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment offering strong compensation, full benefits, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
Compounding Manager Job Summary:
  • Pay: $100,000 - $120,000 (Based on experience)
  • Shifts Available:
    • Dayshift (Monday-Friday)
  • Relocation: Offered, Prefer Local Candidates
  • Oversee daily operations in the Compounding and Pre-Weigh areas
  • Supervise compounders and pre-weigh employees to ensure safety, quality, and production targets are met
  • Manage batching schedules, tank utilization, and labor efficiency
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop team members
  • Partner with Bulk Scheduling, R&D, QC, Warehouse, and Production teams to meet production demands
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
  • Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
  • Support budgeting, cost control, and capital equipment projects
  • Monitor employee performance, conduct evaluations, and manage disciplinary actions when needed
  • Maintain accurate payroll, timekeeping, and PTO coordination
  • Ensure proper supply levels for production operations
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented, and safety-focused work environment

Compounding Manager Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of manufacturing or compounding experience required
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret batch instructions and technical documents
  • Knowledge of weights, measures, and blending processes preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and move/roll 300 lb. drums
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
