Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis. *Manager will interview MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years CERTIFICATIONS: PA license ONLY!! Certified Pharmacy Technician or Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician EPIC exp required Pyxis required RTO: MAX 7 days WEEKENDS: n/a CALL REQUIREMENTS: n/a HOLIDAYS: as needed FLOATING: n/a UNIT INFO: Pursuant to the needs and offerings of the hiring department, essential job accountabilities may include the following: - Receives and stocks deliveries of pharmaceuticals and other supplies. - Prepares, packages, and labels medications prior to dispensing. - Delivers medications to care areas within the hospital. - Delivers medications to off-site locations. - Manages pharmacy inventory management, including use of electronic inventory management systems. - Monitors product expirations and removing outdated stock from inventory. - Responds to product recalls. - Compounds non-sterile and sterile medication preparations. - Cleans and disinfects procedures. - Performs clerical duties such as answering telephones and maintaining adequate supplies. - Identifies at least one area of specialized skill or expertise. - Trains/mentors new pharmacy technicians and pharmacy interns. - Maintains sufficient additional criteria as outlined in the Pharmacy Technician Career Ladder criteria grids.
