**Compounding experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate**

Job Summary

Boothwyn Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented and highly accountable Production Pharmacist to support sterile and non-sterile compounding operations in a fast-paced, multi-state 503A environment.

This role is responsible for overseeing compounding activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting production workflows, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient safety.

The Production Pharmacist works closely with the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), Quality Assurance, and operations teams to ensure efficient and compliant execution of daily production.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Compounding & Production Oversight

  • Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding activities in accordance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800>
  • Ensure adherence to Master Formulation Records (MFRs), Compounding Records (CRs), and SOPs
  • Supervise technicians and ensure accuracy in compounding, labeling, and packaging
  • Support batch preparation and production scheduling

Compliance & Quality

  • Maintain compliance with FDA 503A requirements and Board of Pharmacy regulations
  • Ensure proper documentation of compounding activities
  • Identify and report deviations, discrepancies, or compliance risks
  • Support inspection readiness and internal audits

Operational Support

  • Collaborate with fulfillment, inventory, and pharmacy teams to ensure smooth workflow
  • Support inventory usage and material availability for production
  • Assist in troubleshooting production or compounding issues

Training & Supervision

  • Train and support pharmacy technicians in compounding practices and SOP adherence
  • Ensure staff follow aseptic technique and safety protocols
  • Reinforce a culture of accountability and quality
