    Join our team as an experienced IV Pharmacy Technician , ensuring seamless medication delivery to long term care facilities. Our IV Pharmacy Technicians will assist pharmacists in preparing sterile admixtures and compounding IV solutions while following 797 USP Standards. Our IV Technicians play a critical role in maintaining cleanroom standards, managing inventory and handling documentation.
    Location: on-site at our Closed door LTC pharmacy (9006 Yellow Brick Rd, Baltimore, MD 21237)
    Salary : Starting at $24 - $27 an hour (based on experience)
    Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00PM - 2:30AM, rotating weekends and holidays

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform sanitation and maintenance of the cleanroom area and infusion equipment according to 797 USP Standards
    • Compounds sterile admixtures and non-admixtures, including but not limited to parenteral nutrition, antibiotics, hydration, using aseptic technique
    • Prepares labels, prescription, compounding/mixing worksheets and completes and maintains product lot numbers and expiration dates. Generates delivery/pick slips under the supervision of the pharmacist. Picks and prepare supplies
    • Takes inventory, places order , checks in medications and supplies, stocks IV shelves and removes out-of-date items from inventory
    • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining IV pumps and the IV pump information
    • Records and maintains refrigerator temperature logs
    • Use good documentation practices
    • Assists Pharmacists and calls facilities for IV order questions
    • The ability to adhere to Clarest's Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer
    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced certifications in pharmacy operations preferred
    • * Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the MD State Board of Pharmacy required (In good standing) *
    • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy or fulfillment environment
    • Demonstrated understanding of USP 795 standards and compounding procedures
    • Proven ability to operate automated pharmacy equipment and software systems
    • Strong knowledge of compliance regulations, including DEA, CMS, and state health agencies

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and customer focus
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines with accuracy
