PURPOSE OF JOB

As a Pharmacy Technician in our compounding lab, youโ€™ll play a key role in preparing safe, high-quality sterile and non-sterile medications for patients who depend on them. Working closely with our pharmacists, youโ€™ll handle everything from compounding and labeling to inventory and documentation, all while keeping quality and compliance front and center. If youโ€™re detail-oriented, take pride in precision work, and want to grow with a pharmacy thatโ€™s expanding fast, this role is for you.

JOB DUTIES

โ— Compound sterile and non-sterile medications according to prescriptions, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

โ— Prepare, package, and label compounded medications.

โ— Perform pharmaceutical calculations and formula preparation.

โ— Assist with bulk compound production based on inventory and patient demand.

โ— Maintain cleanroom and laboratory standards, including required documentation and environmental cleaning.

โ— Manage inventory, chemicals, and medication stock levels.

โ— Process prescriptions, order entry, billing, and pharmacy documentation.

โ— Communicate with patients, providers, clinics, and healthcare facilities.

โ— Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.

โ— Maintain compliance with USP, state, and federal regulations.

โ— Other job duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

โ— National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT); sterile certification preferred.

โ— High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred.

โ— Sterile compounding experience strongly preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

โ— Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

โ— Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

โ— Excellent communication and customer service skills.

โ— Ability to learn and apply complex pharmaceutical concepts.
