Job SummaryAdjunct faculty members facilitate students' achievement of course objectives and prepare college students to matriculate through the undergraduate program.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Online and face-to-face course delivery and instruction
  2. Prepare and submit syllabi, grades, and other required course documentation in a timely manner
  3. Communicate course requirements and expectations to students
  4. Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree (or 18 hours of graduate course work) in English or Composition/Rhetoric from an accredited university
Ability to teach effectively (both online and in traditional settings) at the university level
Background check clearance
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office software

Preferred QualificationsPh.D. in English or Composition/Rhetoric
