Job Summary
The UNG Writing Fellows Program is currently accepting applications for student writing consultants at the Gainesville Campus. Writing Fellows work as embedded consultants in one or more courses and assist students with major writing assignments. Training/professionalization is provided via a mandatory course in which Fellows must enroll (and meet required prerequisites).
Responsibilities
The student will:
  • Give oral feedback on writing assignments to students
  • Give written feedback on writing assignments to students
  • Participate in professionalization activities as required by the Director of Writing Fellows

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Friendly and enthusiastic
  • Ability to keep a schedule
  • Ability to discuss grammar, rhetoric, and composition concerns
  • Familiarity with technology for writing

Required Qualifications
Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker
