Job description

As a Components Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive demand, support product adoption, and accelerate growth across Owens Corning's Roofing Components portfolio.
In this role, you will partner across Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Digital, Retail, Contractor, and Science & Technology teams to deliver impactful marketing programs that strengthen brand equity, enhance customer engagement, and drive business results. You will leverage market insights, customer feedback, and business priorities to develop and execute initiatives that position Owens Corning for continued growth in the roofing market.
POSITION LOCATION: Toledo World Headquarters, Toledo, OH (Hybrid; 10-20% travel required)
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that drive demand, awareness, and growth across the Roofing Components portfolio.
  • Partner with Sales, Product Management, Digital Marketing, Retail, Contractor, and Science & Technology teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and business performance data to identify opportunities and optimize marketing programs.
  • Lead annual marketing planning activities by incorporating strategic priorities, growth objectives, product launches, and promotional initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain brand positioning, messaging architecture, and communication strategies across customer-facing channels.
  • Design and execute marketing initiatives that strengthen brand equity and support business growth objectives.
  • Gather and leverage voice-of-customer insights from contractors, distributors, and channel partners to improve messaging, programs, and customer experiences.
  • Lead integrated product launches and marketing campaigns, including advertising, social media, digital content, promotions, training materials, trade shows, and website updates.
  • Develop and enhance sales enablement tools, literature, product samples, and marketing collateral that support contractor and distributor engagement.
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships, ensuring effective budget management, project prioritization, and timely execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Partner closely with commercial teams to support contractor and distributor relationships and drive product adoption.
  • Maintain and update content management systems and digital assets to ensure accurate and consistent product and marketing information.
  • Measure and evaluate marketing effectiveness using customer, market, digital, and sales performance metrics, leveraging insights to improve business results.
  • Lead strategic marketing initiatives and continuously identify opportunities to strengthen processes, improve efficiency, and scale successful programs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, marketing communications, brand management, advertising, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing programs in B2B, B2C, or omnichannel environments.
  • Experience leading projects and collaborating across cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic marketing concepts into actionable programs for diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience building scalable processes, programs, and marketing initiatives that drive business results.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, agencies, vendors, and channel partners.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10-20%.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within the building materials, construction, roofing, or manufacturing industries.
  • Experience supporting product launches, portfolio marketing, demand generation, or brand-building initiatives.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, content management systems, and marketing analytics tools.
  • Experience utilizing voice-of-customer research and customer insights to influence marketing strategy.
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, and external marketing partners.
  • Experience working closely with contractor and distributor customer segments.
