What You Will Be Doing:

Yancey Bros. Co. has an opening for a Component Rebuild Technician.ย  This position will provide power train component repairs, rebuilds, troubleshooting, and testing.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble and assemble components.
  • Clean and inspect components.
  • Evaluate re-usabilityย of component parts.
  • Perform failure analysis based on failed parts, SOS reports, and Machine operation.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Write service reports once jobs are completed
  • Keep work area clean throughout process
  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager
Schedule
  • Monday through Thursdayย 
  • 3:00 pm - 1:00 am
Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should have a mechanical aptitude, be organized and safely work with caustic materials. You should have basic computer skills, be able to read and follow service material instructions and quotes, and write clear and concise work orders. The ability to multitask and problem solve are essential to this position as well.

Education/Experience:
  • High school or equivalent
Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • Candidates must have a vocation/technical school certificate, or a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a heavy equipment shop.ย 
  • Must be able to read and understand manuals, such as D&A, special instructions, and service letters.ย 
  • Also, must have general PC operation skills.
