Our Governance, Risk and Compliance Services (GRC) team is currently looking for interns who can join us in 2027!

  • Winter 2027 (January to April 2027)

What you will do

As an intern, you will join an experienced team and:

  • Will assist and lead the planning and execution of projects in internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and internal audits.
  • Perform tests to evaluate the design and operational effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and operational processes
  • Demonstrate your proven communication skills by providing your business expertise through conversations, email and detailed summaries and reports. 
  • Enjoy a variety of projects assisting organizations that include conducting client interviews, reviewing and analyzing documents and data, conducting research and benchmarking and facilitating workshops.

What you bring to the role

We're looking for candidates who are passionate about risk management and compliance, with:

  • Excellent undergraduate or graduate academic record, preferably in Accounting, Audit, Data Management, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or any other pertinent technology programs.
  • Excellent record of extracurricular involvement (e.g., case competitions, student government, community initiatives, etc.). The following will be considered assets if: Highly interested or have experience in accounting, internal controls or internal audits.
  • Experience drafting presentations and compelling reports.
  • Excellent teamwork and relationship building skills.
  • A proven track record of being able to take initiative, exercise sound judgment, analyze and solve problems.
  • A proven ability to handle a broad range of activities with competing priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills that will enable you to easily interact with clients, colleagues, and the wider community.
  • A commitment to continual learning – developing new skills, taking on new responsibilities and broadening your knowledge through research.
  • Relevant professional experience that can contribute to your knowledge of our keyindustries (an asset). 

This role requires verbal and written communication skills, in both French and English. English is required because there will be daily communications with stake holders that only speak English, within and outside of Quebec which requires excellent skills in both written and spoke form. The candidate will be mandated to create documentation in both languages regularly.
