Job description:
Supports the Credit Union's compliance program by performing daily monitoring, analyzing reports, identifying trends and unusual activity, and assisting in ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and internal policies.
This position performs routine compliance reviews, investigates exceptions, documents findings, and escalates potential concerns to management as appropriate.
Assists with maintaining compliance documentation, supporting regulatory examinations and audits, tracking required training, and helping ensure compliance-related processes are completed accurately and timely.
Serves as a support resource for BSA/AML monitoring and other compliance-related activities.
Required Knowledge/Experience:
Basic understanding of financial institution operations and regulatory compliance.
Ability to analyze data, recognize patterns, and identify exceptions.
One to three (1-3) years of experience in banking, credit unions, compliance, operations, fraud prevention, auditing, risk management, or a related analytical role preferred.
Compliance or BSA-related certifications are a plus.
