As part the Vendor Manager for the gUP Operations team, you will manage a team of vendors (suppliers) based across the globe that support scaling efforts with a variety of cross-functional teams for a host of exciting new products/service offerings from Google. You will use project and vendor management skills to recommend solutions that will help improve evolving workflows and prepare them for scaling. You will be expected to manage a portfolio of vendor workflows that support process excellence, contribute to the long-term operational strategy and support model, and continuous improvements of business processes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage financials/ metrics and workflow allocation for global projects on vendor operations cutting across multiple geographies, suppliers and platforms. Review vendor data, identify process improvement opportunities and drive improvement of vendor performance (SLA compliance, MBRs, QBRs).
  • Driving large scale complex projects spanning across multiple sites and suppliers. Manage the project execution, identify project stakeholders, and manage their expectations
  • Be a liaison for multiple vendor groups, be able to identify the process opportunities and work with teams to help streamline operations, drive operational excellence, remove redundancies in the process, handoffs, etc.
  • Work closely with X-functional team, COE team, Vendor Partners and other business teams to review the volume changes, forecasting and capacity planning and help teams prepare accordingly
  • Setup and drive monthly governance forums on what is working well, what needs improvement and proposed action plan.
