Operations Manager:
 

Location: Denver, CO 80216

Pay: $80,000 - $115,000

Shift Schedule: M-F, 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Experience: 5+ years supervisory experience in automotive, recreational vehicle, trailer, or related industry required.

Our client maintains the largest in-stock selection of trailer parts and accessories in the region. They offer more than 20,000 square feet of parts, accessories and equipment from today’s leading manufacturers. 

The Operations Manager will be responsible for all day-to-day operations including, Warehousing (inbound & outbound), Production/Assembly, Procurement, Safety & Maintenance. This person will ensure the company is delivering Operational Excellence by meeting performance goals, productivity expectations, and Sales/Customer Support throughout the organization.
THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY

Operations Manager General Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for exceeding internal and external customer expectations.
  • Communicates effectively (read/write) and follows complex verbal and written instructions from customers and team.
  • Establish procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy with an understanding of lean manufacturing.
  • Supports Sales team to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Provides guidance and leadership to Safety Team.
  • Responsible for security, key control, alarm system, and safety.
  • Assist in the hiring/staffing process.
  • Responsible for building maintenance.

Operations Manager Procurement Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervises the Procurement Agent.
  • Reviews and approves purchase orders.
  • Maintains Item Master: Item Groups, Kits, Assemblies, and Bill of Materials.
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy and maintenance of in-stock levels.
  • Sources products for best pricing, availability, and quality.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency of all supply chain functions.

Operations Manager Warehousing Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervises the Warehouse Manager.
  • Ensures accuracy of functions related to inventory, parts, and transactions.
  • Responsible for on-time and accurate shipments (small parcel, freight, and delivery).
  • Coordinates inbound and outbound trucks.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely receiving of inventory.

Operations Manager Assembly Responsibilities:

  • Directly Supervises the Production Supervisor.
  • Ensures axles are built in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensures assembly and production items are in stock.
  • Responsible for assembly and production of U-bolt, spring bushings, Nev'R Lube bearings, and drum bushings.

 Operations Manager Requirements:

  • 5+ years of management experience in warehousing, distribution, procurement, inventory, and parts sales.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Experienced team leader with problem-solving experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to type at least 40 wpm.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • This position requires 55 hours per week, including rotating Saturdays.
