Build a Career Managing Complex Environmental Remediation Projects
Winter Environmental is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Environmental Remediation to manage complex environmental remediation and environmental construction projects throughout the Southeast and Eastern United States.
This is an opportunity for an experienced project manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading technically challenging projects from award through closeout. We're looking for professionals who understand environmental remediation, client management, project execution, budgeting, scheduling, and team leadership.
Our Project Managers work closely with clients, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, field supervision, and company leadership to safely deliver high-quality projects on schedule and within budget.
Travel is required. Company-paid travel expenses and per diem are provided when applicable.
What You'll Do
  • Manage environmental remediation projects from contract award through final completion.
  • Develop project budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
  • Coordinate project teams including superintendents, field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Manage project costs, forecasting, change orders, and contract administration.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, remedial designs, and project documents.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project schedules, productivity, and financial performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
  • Support project startup, field operations, and project closeout.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Five (5) or more years of project management experience in environmental remediation, environmental construction, heavy civil, or related industries.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and contract administration.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, remedial designs, and contract documents.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast and Eastern United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification.
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER.
  • Experience with environmental remediation technologies.
