Job description

Competitive Range Solutions requires the expertise of a talented and experienced Senior Circuit Engineer to assist in directing and managing the program's executive support group. The candidate must reference their ability and experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) customer environment and effective integration with a government multi-contractor team.

The Senior Circuit Engineer will be the key to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the Pentagon Primary Technical Control Facility (PPTCF) and Pentagon Alternative Technical Control Facility (PATCF). This position involves a deep understanding of telecommunications network management, circuit engineering, and implementing secure and non-secure voice, data, optical, and digital message traffic services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring the high-quality engineering and maintenance of circuits, links, and systems within a state-of-the-art technical control environment.
  • Develop and implement circuit engineering designs, modifications, and enhancements to support secure and non-secure communications across the Pentagon reservations.
  • Perform rigorous quality control and testing procedures to ensure all circuits and systems meet or exceed DoD policies and standards.
  • Provide expert fault isolation capabilities, swiftly restore services, and mitigate impacts to operations 24x7x365.
  • Conduct performance monitoring and trend analysis to identify potential issues before they impact services, ensuring high reliability and availability of all circuits and systems.
  • Ensure all equipment and system installations comply with DISN implementation standards and local DoD-established QA/QC standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide detailed reports on circuit status, engineering projects, and performance analysis to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance technical control services' performance, reliability, and security.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in creating engineering circuit layout diagrams.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in digital and analog circuit design and implementation.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in analysis testing and troubleshooting circuits.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with helpdesk support and operation.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (required).
