This is a paid internship; however, the intern must provide their own housing and transportation. Business related transportation and expenses will be paid by the organization. This intern will work full-time through the summer of 2027, and part-time through the school year. The internship is located out of our Bloomington, IL office location. If pursuing internship credit through your university, it is your responsibility to consult with your advisor and review the internship's job description to ensure it meets the minimum eligibility requirements.

The contributions you will make: 

A Brand Marketing Intern will provide valuable support to the Brand & Creative Services team by monitoring industry trends, conducting competitive research and benchmarking and helping identify opportunities to strengthen Compeer's market position. The intern will also assist with social media content scheduling, daily channel monitoring, engagement support through approved evergreen responses, and other brand marketing initiatives, allowing the team to respond more efficiently while maintaining a consistent and engaging brand presence.

A typical day: 

  • Social media scheduling, monitoring for responses, and performance reporting.
  • Supports competitive intelligence, trend monitoring, community engagement and reporting. 

The skills and experience we prefer you have: 

  • Working towards completing a Marketing or Ag Business degree. 
  • Strong interest in agriculture industry. 
  • Strong working knowledge of computers and software applications such as Excel and Word. 
  • Solid organizational, interpersonal, time management, written and oral communication skills required. 
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential. 

How we will take care of you:

Actual hourly rate offered is dependent upon year in school, work experience, transferable skills, business needs and market demands. The hourly rate range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Base Pay
$19—$20 USD
