Overview of the Program

Join Lincoln Electric's Marketing team as a Market Intelligence Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting data-driven business decisions. This 11-week internship will focus on collecting, organizing, analyzing, and communicating insights about customers, markets, products, and competitors for marketing, product, and commercial teams. 

This internship will support market research, voice-of-customer analysis, competitive tracking, and insight development by turning information from multiple sources into clear summaries, reports, trackers, and recommendations that help internal stakeholders make better-informed decisions.

What You'll Work On
  • Conduct secondary research on markets, customers, competitors, and industry trends 
  • Assist with collection and analysis of customer feedback and VOC inputs from available sources 
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries of findings for internal stakeholders 
  • Maintain trackers, templates, or dashboards that support recurring insight work 
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and commercial teams to support insight needs and strategic initiatives 
  • Prepare a final insight summary, dashboard, competitor tracker, VOC theme recap, or recommendation presentation at the end of the internship 
Basic Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, economics, analytics, statistics, communications, or a related field 
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship  
Preferred Qualifications
  • Anticipated graduation date of December 2028 or May 2029. 
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 
  • Coursework or project experience involving market research, data analysis, customer insights, competitive analysis, statistics, business analytics, or economics preferred 
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills 
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required 
  • Interest in market research, customer insight, product understanding, and competitive analysis 
  • Experience with surveys, dashboards, or data visualization tools is a plus
