Job description

Position Summary
This role acts as the regional technical expert for the category, driving product lifecycle management, market growth initiatives, and cross-functional alignment.
The position requires strong business acumen, technical expertise, entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Sales Offices across Latin America, Corporate teams in Japan and other members of the Consumer Regional Team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Portfolio Management
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for product specifications, features, competitive positioning, and technical differentiators.
  • Drive portfolio strategy based on customer insights, market research, competitive analysis, and business performance metrics.
  • Evaluate product performance (revenue, margin, market share, Net ASP, volume) and recommend optimization actions.
  • Provide structured feedback and requirements to Corporate (Japan) to influence future product development and roadmap decisions.
  • Conduct product benchmarking and competitive analysis to ensure strong market positioning.
  • Requires deep product mastery to deliver high impact live demonstrations that communicate value, address questions, and highlight key features across different use cases

2. Strategic Initiatives & New Product Launches
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities and growth initiatives.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy for new printers, accessories and services.
  • Define value propositions, target segmentation, product positioning, and pricing strategy.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases, including financial modeling and profitability analysis.
  • Coordinate cross-functional launch plans with Sales, Marketing, Marcom, Supply Chain, and Service teams.

3. Sales Office Support & Regional Alignment
  • Provide strategic and technical support to Latin America Sales Offices.
  • Develop and deliver product training materials and competitive comparison tools.
  • Collect and synthesize customer and channel feedback to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Act as liaison between Latin America and Corporate Product Teams.
  • Communicate regional market requirements, customer insights, and competitive dynamics.

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing or Engineering.
  • Master's degree is preferred.

Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, or related commercial roles.
  • Experience managing product portfolios in consumer electronics, technology, or printing industry in Latin America is preferred.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
  • Experience interacting with global or corporate headquarters teams is highly desirable.

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $137,419 and $171,772. Please note that this position's salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
