As an Energy Risk Management Specialist I, you will help monitor, analyze, and report on energy market risk tied to power marketing, trading activities, and commodity transactions. You will gain hands-on experience with energy markets, financial risk analysis, and compliance while supporting real-time decision-making that impacts power generation and pricing.

This position is an excellent opportunity for entry-level professionals to launch and grow their career within the organization. Through hands-on experience and collaboration with experienced team members, you will build critical skills and gain exposure to meaningful, real-world work.

What You'll Do

  • Support tracking and validation of energy transactions across power, natural gas, and other commodities
  • Assist with monitoring portfolio risk, including credit exposure and market risk positions
  • Help prepare monthly risk reports for Finance, Audit, and Risk discussions
  • Participate in settlement processes for energy markets, including RTO transactions
  • Collaborate with Power Marketing and Finance teams to ensure accurate data and reporting
